Acting and Performing

Sofia Zaragoza was trained from a young age in American Musical Theatre, and transitioned to contemporary forms in her undergraduate Theatre Arts degree at the University of California, San Diego. Now based in London, Sofia has done many projects with a focus on New Work Development as a stage performer, singer, and voice actress. Her work has led her to have an expertise in immersive and site - specific performance.

  • Helps facilitate a group of 6 executive producers to run the theatre collective. 

  • Recently produced a New Works Festival which world premiered 4 new plays in East London.

  • Produces weekly workshops every Wednesday free and open to the community.

  • Has written original curriculum and facilitated/directed 14 original courses based in forms of Theatre for Social Justice. These courses engage with topics of racism, sexism, environmental justice, and LGBT+ rights.
